Dark Alley Experience

As I regained conscientiousness, I remember asking myself how in the world did I get here? I began wondering what I had done prior to waking up in the alley. I wondered if I had gone to a party and if one of my friends had played a trick on me. After a while I came to the conclusion that I had been on my way home from a friends house after we had been sucking in a lot of helium out of balloons, and had been to stubborn and wouldn't let anyone give me a ride home.
Now as I was still waking up, I seen headlights turning into the opposite end of the alley. I jumped behind a dumpster and sat there until they passed. After the dust had settled down from the vehicles passing I jumped up and ran as fast as could towards my house. While I was on my way home I had to stop for some air, since I was so out of shape. When I had arrived in my front yard, I knew I had to make it into the house quietly or my mom would be heated.
I began to unlock the door as quietly as possible, without waking anyone up. Just as I had got the door to our vestibule open I began to peak into the house to see if anyone was awake, it look dark and as if no one was. When I opened the front door, I thought I had made it in without anyone noticing. Just as I was shutting the door behind me, I felt someone tap on my should and say "and just where have you been." I had to sit down and explain the story, only changing it a tad bit when I said my friends were the ones that I blame. My mom gave me a whole little lecture about how bad stuff could have happened to me and I got grounded for a week.

John the Panda

Living in the woods isn't always easy, sometimes you just want to experience the human life. For me, I just wanted to go down one of them fun things they call a slide. So it all started one summer day when I woke up I had just had a dream of sliding down a slide. The temptation had got to me, I just had to do it. So I began walking out of the woods and up to a close house. When I got to the house I started to peek over the fence to see if everything was clear, it was no one was there. I began to ease of the corner of the fence as easy as I could so I would draw any attention. After I got over, I ran as fast as I could to the slide. After getting there I climbed up the ladder and found out real quick I was scared of heights. I began quivering I was so terrified, but I new I had to hurry and get down before someone seen me. Just as I had built up the courage to go down I heard some yell "John get down." I instantly recognized the voice, it was my mom's. She had followed me out of the woods, knowing that I was up to something. She was peaking around from the edge of the house trying to get my attention. With a sudden leap of courage I went slid down the slide. It was amazing I thought to myself, as I was running towards my mom. When I had finally gotten on the other side of the fence again I was in shock that I had really gone down a slide for the first time ever.

future me

It's been a while since I last wrote this letter, 12 years to be correct. I hope all is going well with my life right now, are you an athletic trainer or maybe a physical therapist? My dreams were to get on with a pro or college football team, did it happen? I planned on being married and maybe a little one, I also wanted a nice house with a awesome car. I was planning on making enough money that I didn't have to have any worries or doubts. How is your walk with Jesus going, are you staying faithful? In high school I was a bit on the crazy side, how am I doing now? Have I met that one person that I have always been scared too, if so how were they?

As I am writing this letter it is the 29th of October 2009, I am sitting in my senior english class writing this blog as a project. Not very much is going on in my life right now, it's pretty average. School, well it's probably the best year ever, I am enjoying every minute of my last year at home. The football team is playing their last district game tomorrow against Friona, they have to win by eight to be in the playoffs. Well I have nothing else, so I hope all is well with the future me.

Coach Rhodes

Probably my favorite memory of coach Rhodes took place my freshman year in his classroom. We was all working on one of his little papers he always gave us, when he caught Rajesh cheating. Coach was like "now Rajesh you know that ain't right," Rajesh got really embarrassed cause everyone was laughing at him cause he got caught and every one always cheated.

fiction story

Once upon a time there was what appeared on the outside to be a normal little town in the middle of nowhere. The people of the town claimed it to be haunted. Legends have it that an evil bus driver drove a bus full of students off a cliff on halloween day. So as the story goes every year on October 31 a bus full of those little kids will crash through the town destroying everyone in its path. Some say that the reason the bus driver drove it off the cliff, is because the parents of the kids paid him to do so, that's why no charges were ever pressed. The bus was never found, but if on halloween you get close enough to cliff, they say you can still here the little children screaming for help. If you take the matter as a joke the kids will get you. In one instance some kids thought it would be fun to take some friends down by the cliff and scare them by dressing up like dead kids, but before their friends arrived the kids dissapeared. People in the town new exactly what had happened and never went near the cliff to find their loved ones, in fear that they might get killed also.

Swine Flu

The Swine Flu or H1N1 virus, has got everyone on edge. The illness is very contagious, you can get this from being around someone who is infected and they sneeze or cough, you may also get this by touching an object such as a counter or maybe a door knob that has the virus on it. This is no ordinary virus, it has already killed 106 people in Mexico and 27 people in the United States. The symptoms are much like that of the normal flu; fever about 100.4, cough, sore throat, headaches, chills, muscle aches, diarrhea, and vomiting. If it is confirmed that you are infected doctors might prescribe you zanamivir or osteltamivir, people living in your household may also be prescribed these medicines. People are encouraged to wash their hands frequently and be careful of their respiratory hygiene.

The New Beowulf

The Wrath of Grendel
As Grendel became very agitated with the music playing so loud in the banquet hall, he decided to go down to the local wal-mart and buy himself those headphones that resist all unwanted sounds from entering. When he got home he decided to try his new purchase out, when he put them on he soon discovered that music was still so loud that even through the headphones he could here it. At first Grendal tried to stay calm, but just like everyone he could only take so much until he decided to go do something about it. As Grendel drew closer to the hall he soon discovered that Hrothgar had bought 2 MTX Jackhammers for his town hall and that was what was causing the music to be so loud, for those that don't know what that is it is a 22 inch subwoofer. This made Grendel so mad that he marched into hall and began going after people, he killed 30 people with just one swoop of his hand. After munching on his kill for a while and using the new headphones Grendel decided that he was going to start going back up there every time he heard the music.
The Coming of Beowulf
Higlac was checking his myspace one day when he seen pictures of Hrothgar's people getting tormented by this creature they called Grendel. Being the nice person that he was Higlac decided he would send them some help. Beowulf volunteered for the job since how he was the biggest and strongest person in the kingdom. He gathered up 14 men and they grabbed their supplies and set sail. After reaching Hrothgars island, they were greeting with a Danish Watchmen shaking his tech 9 in their face asking who they was. After getting passed the watchmen the started walking towards the kingdom to find Hrothgar, once in the hall the people of Hrothgar greeted Beowulf with shouts of joy.
The Battle with Grendel
Grendel now just hoping to kill, came rushing up the hill towards Hrothgar's kingdom. He snapped open the door hoping to see a bunch of drunk men, but instead it was beowulf and his men ready to fight. Although he ripped apart the first Geat he came to, that would be the last. Next was Beowulf, Grendel tried to grab him but didn't have the strength to just grab him up. As they battled they both began to see that it was gonna be a fight to ones death, so as it went on beowulf finally just reached for his Tech 9 and started shooting Grendel. After defeating him Beowulf hung his shoulder from the rafter to show the people he had won.
The Monsters' Lair
After defeating Grendel, the townspeople decide to tell him that he has a mom and she probably isn't to happy. Where Grendel and his mother stay is a place where not even a deer will run into if he is about to be killed.
The Battle With Grendels' Mother
Beowulf and his men marched down to the lake and without saying a word he immediatly dove into the lake with the Tech 9 strapped to his side. As he was swimming down Grendels' mother realized she had company and went to get him. She began dragging him to her home where the battle began. He began to free his Tech 9 and started shooting, but it soon became jammed and Grendels' mom never let up fire with her new Glock 45. Beowulf in distress happened to see an old sword hanging on the wall and had no other choice but to use it. The sword was his only hope, when he picked it up he then realized it was no ordinary sword so he used the last of his strength and swung it and her and cut her head completely off. Beowulf grabbed ahold of Grendels' head and began swimming to the top to show his people he had won the battle.
The Last Battle
After returning home to his kingdom, Beowulf later became king. As king, his kingdom becomes dangered by a dragon. Even though Beowulf is old he still decides to take on the dragon himself, using his shield, armor, and his Tech 9. Beowulf marched up to the tower where the dragon was posted. As he opened the door the dragon became very angry and began spitting out his fire. Beowulf wasted no time, he jumped in there and started the battle. The battle was a very vivid sight for anyone to watch. The dragon beat down Beowulf slowly but steadily. As his men stood and watched the event taking place, one of them even put in his ipod touch and just started listening to music as he wandered off. At the last moment right before Beowulf was completely done a brave young soldier showed up, his name was Wiglaf. As Wiglaf entered the tower to help his king he took along with him his flame retarded suit and a sword.
The Spoils
Then Wiglaf charged into the tower being as brave as possible to help his king. Together they defeated the dragon. Wiglaf noticed a ton of gold, precious gems, and bracelets scattered all over the floor. As Beowulf tired from fighting layed on the floor dying Wiglaf made many trips back and forth in and out of the tower getting as much of the riches to show his king while he was still alive. After many trips in and out, Beowulf told Wiglaf to have his people build him a tomb at the waters edge. He wanted to tomb so big that people could see it from miles away and know that it was Beowulfs' Tower. With that being said Beowulf took the necklace from around his neck, his gold helmet and all his rings and declared Wiglaf king.
The Farewell
Wiglaf denounces all the soldiers who deserted Beowulf, the Geats burn their king's body on a great funeral pyre and bitterly lament his death. The tower Beowulf had wanted got finished. During the funeral the soldier drove their smart cars around Beowulfs' tower, showing him all the respect in the world.
The End.

My Future

Reaching thirty years of age my seem like an eternity for some, but just think how fast the past 17 or 18 years have gone, it's only another 12 or so. When i am around the age of thirty I hope to be settled down with a wife maybe a kid or two. I want to be working as a athletic trainer for a professional team. My house is gonna be a two story house with a little lake in the back yard with a huge window overlooking the back yard from the upstairs. The inside will be hardwood floors in the living room, tile in the kitchen and bathroom, and the bedrooms will be a thick carpet. The shower in the master bedroom will be a huge walk in shower with the jets coming out the sides with a waterfall spout above, built into the walls of the shower will be a waterproof sub woofer so that I can listen to music will I am in the shower. The master bathroom will also have a huge bathtub will a fire place behind it. My room will have a big bed with a ton of throw pillows on it and a huge t.v. mounted to the wall. I will hopefully drive a Lexus and my wife will have her dream car.

who packed my parachute

When asked the question of who packs my parachute, it took me a minute to actually figure it out. Now I have come to the conclusion of my mom, dad, my ganny, randy, papa, and tristan. Each of these people have made a huge impact on my life today. They might not know how much they have even helped me so I plan to let them know. The person who has probably impacted me the most would have to be my ganny, thats my grandma. Without her I have no clue where I would be today, I mean she is the one who bought me my vehicle, pays for my gas, she's taking me to the Texas Tech homecoming this year, and she is paying for my college.

Expectations of My Senior Year

Growing up all the way from elementary to Jr High, you always look up to the seniors thinking one day I will be there. Now that we are seniors, we have the opportunity to have all the young kids looking up to us. So with this great feeling we have some responsibilities, we obviously don't want to set a bad example. Some things I kind of expect this year from myself is that I make fairly good grades, have fun, and enjoy my last year at home.
